The primary job of the sacristan is to prepare the Church for all liturgies (Mass, Weddings, Rosaries, Funeral, etc.). Sacristans make sure that the sacred vessel and linens are clean, in good repair and in place for each liturgy. They prepare the Altar and light the Altar candles. The sacristans ensure that sacred books are set and in place. Sacristans make sure everything is ready and in its proper place before and after each Mass. The sacristan Coordinator is Gloria Lujan.
